I was very pleased when we parked on an air gate but very soon wished we had not. Leaving the Club cabin and following the signs for non-Schengen arrivals we were through immigration in one minute but in Terminal A. We quickly discovered that our baggage was to be delivered to Terminal B. We had to walk a long way and enter via full blown security to traipse through back to arrivals and finally collect our baggage.
We discovered too that this is a common error – and we were not the only ones on our flight. This is caused by poor signage and lack of guidance from BA.
Barcelona was very beautiful and sunny but a cloud gathered on my brow when they took away our passports at cruise check-in with the intention of returning them the day before we arrive in Egypt. I never like surrendering my passport.
